Today, Whitney partners with founders and leadership teams to build the structure, systems, and culture that allow companies to grow without losing what makes them special. A certified SHRM professional, Whitney is an experienced HR generalist with expertise spanning the entire employee lifecycle. She develops corporate HR strategies while remaining deeply involved in the day-to-day realities of hiring, onboarding, leadership development, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. She also has extensive experience implementing and optimizing HR technology platforms including Taleo, PeopleSoft, BambooHR, Gusto, and Heartland.

Before launching WE Thrive HR, Whitney served in HR Management and Leadership roles with D.R. Horton, where she led recruiting initiatives across the Southeast, developed training programs and employee handbooks, strengthened company culture, and built high-performing teams. Throughout her career, she has become known for making complex HR processes simple, improving operational efficiency, and creating workplaces where both businesses and employees thrive.

Whitney's perspective extends beyond the workplace. After living abroad and traveling extensively with her family, including spending a year in Valencia, Spain that was featured on House Hunters International, she gained a deep appreciation for how different cultures approach leadership, collaboration, creativity, and community. Those experiences continue to shape the people-first philosophy that defines WE Thrive HR today.
